This sterile gel helps protect the wound surface, minimise contamination, and reduce unpleasant odours while promoting a healthy healing environment. Its non-adherent nature makes dressing changes easier and less stressful, helping keep pets comfortable throughout recovery.

Ingredients

Leptospermum sp. (Manuka honey), Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, bees wax, acacia senegal gum.
Directions for use
  • Clean around the wound thoroughly using sterile saline.
  • Apply a thick coating (approximately 3 mm) of PAW Manuka Wound Gel™ directly to the wound site.
  • If preferred, apply the gel to a suitable wound dressing before use.
  • Monitor the wound and change dressings according to the level of wound drainage and cleanliness.
  • At each dressing change, gently flush the area with sterile saline or water to remove the previous application before reapplying.
Caution
  • Avoid use on heavily draining wounds and wounds located within body cavities.
  • If healing progress is slow or the wound fails to improve, contact your veterinarian for further assessment.
