Possible Side Effects
  • Simparica is generally well tolerated in dogs when used according to the product label and veterinary advice.
  • Possible adverse reactions include vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy, although these effects are not commonly reported.
  • Neurological reactions, such as tremors, uncoordinated movement and seizures, may occur in susceptible dogs.
  • Consult your veterinarian before use if your dog has a history of seizures or other neurological conditions.
  • Contact your veterinarian promptly if your dog displays unusual behaviour or experiences suspected side effects after treatment.
Directions for use
  • Choose the correct Simparica chew based on your dog's current weight, using the equivalent weight range on the product packaging to select the appropriate strength.
  • Administer one chew orally every month, with or without food. Offer it as a treat, combine it with a small portion of food or place it directly into your dog's mouth.
  • Repeat treatment at regular monthly intervals throughout the year to maintain uninterrupted parasite protection, including outside peak tick season.
  • If a scheduled dose is missed, administer it as soon as you remember and consult your veterinarian about the next treatment date.
Caution
  • Suitable for dogs and puppies aged 8 weeks and older with a minimum body weight of 2.8 lbs.
  • Approved for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats, other animals or humans.
  • Safety in pregnant, lactating or breeding dogs has not been established. Consult your veterinarian before administering treatment.
  • No specialised handling is required during normal administration. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
    Store below 30 C in the original packaging, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and animals.
